Rewind function

You have removed the function of rewinding a live program after viewing a recording 

I will be investigating of services because I want that feature in addition your services are too costly and customer service is HORRIBLE. 

I am sure I won’t be with your service very long

hi Chelsea,

I sent a message to the support link above. the main X1 box does not retain the live channel buffer when you watch a recorded show or steam from an app.

it was a feature on the main X1box, now it acts the same as the add on cheap little x1 remote boxes. I'm not sure why they would purposely change a feature that the box hardware is capable of performing? I switched X1 boxes and this feature worked until the overnight x1 update.

To send a "Direct Message" ("Private") message:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Direct Message chat" icon
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send it

Has anyone received a response from Xfinity that resolves the rewind live TV after watching a recorded video?  We’ve been using this feature for years and the functionality was removed several months ago.  We got a new X1 box and issue still exists.

This has to be a result of a recent software update.

It is in their software, I went to the store got a new X1 box  and the box worked as before.

The next day after the overnight update I was no longer able to rewind the live program.
