Resuming paused live TV reverses to the beginning of the buffer

Has anyone else noticed this?  I was watching a movie yesterday and paused it a couple times long enough for the screensaver to come up.  When I hit play afterwards, the start point was all the way back at the beginning of the buffered video.  I then had to fast forward over an hour to get back to where I paused the movie.
