My remote is not working can not set up the TV

  • Is this a brand new Xfinity remote, or has it been working previously?
  • Have you tried replacing the batteries in the remote? Sometimes that's all it takes!
  • What kind of TV are you trying to set up? (e.g., a new TV, an existing TV you've had with Xfinity, etc.)
  • Are there any lights flashing on the remote when you press buttons?
  • Have you tried pairing the remote to the TV? If so, what steps did you take?
