Remote Unpairs Daily and Log-Ins to Third Party Apps are reset

Each day my remote must be repaired and all of the log-ins for third party apps must be re-entered.  I've change batteries in the remote, then I had the remote replaced.  Do I need to replace my box?

I had to replace my XG1v4 DVR when it would unpair about once a week.

Is that free of charge?  I'm getting so frustrated I'm considering dropping them.

XfinityRuben, you're name is not in the list of individuals that can receive direct messages.  Is there someone else I should contact?

@user_5588ec Ah, we'll post the steps below for future use. If the box is not saving your preferences, there is something wrong with the memory. It's best to get a new box asap, you can pick one up for free at a local store or have us ship you one through UPS and billed to your account. If you want to troubleshoot the memory before doing so, you can follow the steps on here to clear the cache and memory on the box. It will have you log in to everything again, but should stick if it's the resolution. If not swap it out for one that will save the preferences successfully. Use our store locator here to find a store near you.

Yes, it was free.  They'll want to add a $15 charge for the self install kit.  Just tell them upfront they need to waive that charge. That's always worked for me.

If you have a 4K box, Xfinity stores rarely have an XG1v4 that you can pick up yourself and you need to have them mail you one.
