Remote stuck “scanning for devices”
New voice remote. The remote has paired with all the cable box functions but not the tv on/off or volume control. The system gets stuck in “scanning for devices”. Voice button makes no sound when pressed.
I’ve rebooted the box and TV, reset the remote, and attempted to pair multiple times. I’ve tried with multiple voice remotes. I can never get past this message to successfully pair the voice remotes with my TV.

Batteries?
If your Xfinity voice remote is paired with the cable box but not the TV's on/off and volume controls,
you likely need to re-pair the remote with your TV. (I know you did this but are batteries ok?)

Thank you for reaching out. I hope you are doing well. I see you are running into trouble with the voice remote pairing with your TV. I understand you've taken a few troubleshooting steps already, but you haven't made any progress. Additionally, the voice button function is not working as expected. Given the combination of the issues, it could also be a good idea to swap the device. We could ship a remote on our end, or you could also visit the local store for a free replacement.
