Remote pairing

Stuck on scanning for devices- volume and voice not pairing with remote

I understand you are having some issues with your remote pairing, and it would be my pleasure to help. Just to make sure we are on the same page, are you pairing the remote to your cable box or TV? Also, what kind of remote do you have? Is it the black voice remote by any chance?

old remote supplied with box by xfinity button fell out - no longer able to use all functions. Obtained new remote unable to sync w/existing box.

@user_d4af82 Thank you for that. You should be able to press the Mic button and say "Program Remote" and the instructions will display on the screen to finish the pairing of the remote.
