Remote Pairing Issues
Our TV has a message that says "Remote not working?", and we can't get the remote that we've been using with the TV to pair with the TV (even after a reset of the box & putting the remote back to factory settings before trying to pair them again). With that being said, the remote has no problems pairing with a different TV that also has Xfinity. Also, the remote we use with the other TV is also having issues pairing with the first TV. We're assuming the issue isn't with the remotes?

Here's what the box looks like, as well as the message on the TV.

turn on the TV and put the input on cable TV. hold the remote for the set top box and press both the Xfinity button and the mute button and the same time holding them both down until the red LED on the remote turns to green. The TV should then show a 3 digit number that is unique for that set top box. key in those numbers. after a few moments press the Xfinity button, does the remote's LED blink green or red?

Pairing the remote with the tv controls volume and power. That is the last step in the activation flow.
