Remote Not Working
New batteries in my remote, and this has happened three times over the past few days. X1 box displays Remote Not Working, and all the XiD-P setop boxes display the same message. Have to power off/on the X1 box to resolve it. When the X1 box reboots, it acts like it doesn't remember it's settings... goes through Welcome, Language selection, etc. Takes 5-10 minutes to reboot the X1 box. I think it was a few days between the first and second incident of this, but between the second and the third incident it was only a few hours. X1 box was turned on and powered continously between the 2nd and 3rd incident. Any clues?

You need a new box. Your device is most likely being reset due to an internal hardware issue. The "Remote Not Working" screen is a timeout overlay when the language screen is displayed for a certain amount of time. The remote is fine, your device is not.
