Remote Control Replacements

Both of my voice activated remotes are unusable. I’ve tried going through the Xfinity Assistant to get replacements and it ends up putting me in contact with a chat agent. Once the chat agent starts the live chat I tell them I need to replace 2 voice activated remotes and I never get any response, it just happened again for the third time right before I came to the forum. I’m not sure what’s going on but it’s becoming extremely frustrating. Are these remotes that hard to come by and that’s why I can’t get anyone to help me get replacements?   How should I go about getting replacements through Xfinity or should I try my luck with one of those universal ones?

Momtoo2 Thanks for reaching out for help with getting remote replacements. Our stores have them on hand to hand out to customers if you have one near you, but I can also get replacements shipped if you would prefer. 

Can you send us a direct message with your full name, name of account holder (if different), and service address please?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" If necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon (speech bubble)

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person".

Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it
