Remote boxes

Just installed 4K box with Ethernet to the router.
Now the remote boxes no longer work

What 4K box do you have Ethernet running to? And what other boxes do you have. If it’s an XG1V4 dvr, Ethernet doesn’t touch it

It is the Xi6-A.
When I first turn it on, I cannot access the cable channels (just like the remote boxes). But if I access the 4K/internet channels or access my Xfinity recordings, then I can access the regular channel guide and the cable channels.
OBTW, I can access Netflix and Prime thru Xfinity on the remote boxes but not regular cable channels.

The remote boxes are: XiD-P.

It’s like I can access the internet/Xfinity on everything but I cannot get the regular cable channels.

The XiD needs a main box to communicate with. Without it, you are using cloud accessible services(live tv isn’t one)

So is the Xi6-A box not considered a “main” box?

Nope, it’s a companion box like the XiD.

swap one of the xiD for an xg2 (has 4 tuners, can loan out 3).

I replaced one of the remote XiD boxes with the big cable box that was originally connected to the main TV and was replaced by the Xi6 4K box.
All is working well now.
Thanks to all for the help and advice.
