Remote battery life

I am replacing my batteries for my tv remote every 10 days. This seems not normal. Do I need a. We one?

I’ve wondered the same thing.  When I call and speak with someone they tell me it’s because the remote is old. I’ve had the service since 2016 and they say I need to take my remotes and boxes to the xfinity store and get replacements

Mine eat up batteries too. Duracells will last 3 maybe 4 months. Dollar store batteries maybe a couple of weeks.

I actually started using rechargeable batteries. They don’t last any longer or less than the regular ones

My TV states my battery level is at 28% so I replaced them 3 times and after replacing them each time my battery level still stays at 28%.

It's not my AA batteries as the last time I purchased a new pack. I see in the past on other closed threads that other people has the same problem but no solution was offered.

Do I need a new remote or what?
