Refund promised 8/22/25 and still not have received on 12/6/25
Have had terrible cable service for months and months and months in the Roosevelt, NJ area. Have been told work is being done in the area. After not being able to watch shows because of freezing, pixling etc, and many, many calls, upgrading all of our boxes we were still having issues. Finally on 8/22/25 a supervisor called me and said I would get a $500 refund on the next bill. This never happened. I have spent hours on the phone (at least a hour each time I call) with the same unacceptable results and still no refund. Tickets are just opened and closed and says refund request closed or denied. I once again on 12/5 opened another ticket escalating to a supervisor who then told xfinity employee I was on with that I wouldn't have to call anymore and I would get my refund. Once again ticket is closed and no refund and no explanation. This was not a request for refund. This was a refund that the supervisor who called me from Xfinity said I would get (8/22/25). Two tickets ago I was told they were requesting a copy of the recording that day to see what was said. I felt like that meant I was lying about being told would get a refund. That ticket was closed. When I opened another one yesterday (12/5/25) it was again was escalated to a supervisor. Xfinity employee had me on hold while we waited for supervisor (a little over an hour again). She told me she was waiting for a ticket number from supervisor and that I wouldn't have to call back again and I would get my refund. Once again the ticket was closed. No further action is required. When I click on ticket details (ticket ECM0018242128 it says Credit request closed. I have spent many, many hours the last several months trying to get this refund and in the meantime there continues to be messages on the website when I sign in that routine work is being done in the area. The picture/sound continues to freeze up even after upgrading all of our boxes. It seems like calling support and even getting a supervisor only causes a ticket to open and close with no results. I told them yesterday that I am going to report to BBB, local TV stations that help consumer with issues and I have now read that I can contact the FCC and the state attorney generals consumer protection offce or local TV stations that help consumers with issues they can't resolve. All I want is the $500 I was promised on 8/22/25 and I want to talk to someone besides a supervisor at customer support that can get this done. I have had numerous tickets opened and closed, talk to support, supervisors, billing dept., technical people and all that happens is a ticket is opened and then closed with no refund. Why am I continually being lied to. The request for a copy of the 8/22/25 conversation of what the supervisor said was closed and I was told that wasn't how to get the refund. Yesterday's ticket was supposed to resolve this (I even asked for the name of the supervisor yesterday for my records.
