Recurring Daily Outages - Specific Channels
I have a recurring issue that has not been resolved despite having contacted support in the past and being told it’s been resolved.
ISSUE:
Error code XRE-03059 (“Sorry, we’re having trouble connecting”) appears on specific channels — 470 (CNBC) (around 1 PM every day), 428 (Fox News) (around 5 PM most days), — every day at almost the exact same time. The picture goes blurred/blocky before the error appears. The affected channels stay unwatchable for several hours before coming back on their own.
WHAT I’VE ALREADY DONE:
• Reported this issue previously; it was not resolved.
• Rebooted the box and checked cable connections
WHY I DON’T THINK THIS IS AN IN-HOME ISSUE:
• Only certain channels are affected, not all of them, which suggests a problem with the specific frequency/QAM those channels are carried on rather than my box or wiring.
• It happens at a consistent time every day, which points to something upstream (node, tap, or plant-level interference) rather than an equipment fault that a simple reboot or in-home visit during business hours would catch.
WHAT I’M REQUESTING:
1. Please pull the signal level/SNR history from my modem and set-top box for the affected time window over the past several days, not just a live snapshot — the problem may not show up if checked at a different time of day.
2. Please escalate this to a plant/node-level or RF technician, not a standard in-home service call, since the pattern suggests an upstream signal issue affecting specific channels for my node.
3. If it turns out to be a known outage or maintenance window affecting my area, please confirm that and give me a timeline for a permanent fix.
Please let me know what you find and what the next steps are. At this point, this has been going on for a very long time - probably close to a year.
Thank you for your attention and assistance.
