Recordings are ending before program is over and Smart Resume is broken....I believe these are related issues
Smart Resume has been broken for some time. There are so many reports on the forums about this and yet here we are still broken. There is a 30-40 sec delay in starting the program again AND this is affecting DVR recordings also. They end before the show is over and that is so unacceptable. This is not a local problem "that will be fixed soon". A hard reset does not fix it and getting a new set top box is 100% NOT the answer. I have read so many posts from Comcast reps telling customers those things and its simply not true and none of those fix the issue. The one that really gets to me is to tell us to get a new box...OMG. Why customers are being told all that stuff is beyond me. It appears the smart resume and the recordings ending early are related and its a timing issue with the system and NOT a customer issue. What is really going on?
