When trying to record all hockey games for a specific team how do i pick which channel to record.  I have nhl center ice and it seem to always record the other teams broadcast.  If im following a team i want that teams home broadcast.

Hello there @Smeggie42! Thank you so much for reaching out for help with your NHL Ice center and recording games. You may be running into the games being shown on a major broadcasting network. If these games are being shown on let us say FOX or NBC you would need to record the game directly from the guide on those channels.

Disappointing response here.  I have the NHL subscription as well and programmed to record all Minnesota Wild games.  Rarely do I get the Minnesota broadcast.

@user_459b69 I'm sorry to hear that your not getting the games recorded as set up. I would like to assist you and take a look into what is going on with you.

Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address? Our team can most definitely take a further look at this https://comca.st/3HbEDVG send a "Peer to peer" ("Private") message:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

• Click the "Peer to peer chat" icon

Some issue here. Absolutely unacceptable for as much as we pay for center ice that Xfinity can’t get this right. If you use the guide and go to the center ice channel for your desired team it doesn’t even show the games at the times they will be broadcast, Just random blocks of time so the guide is completely useless for setting up recordings. If you pick a favorite team and set to record all games for that team often what records is the opponents team broadcast. I have to manually look ahead for each game and switch the recording to my teams home broadcast and delete the other recording. I just can’t understand why this is so difficult. Why have separate center ice channels for each team if you can’t use them? Why allow recording a specific team and then not make sure you record the local broadcast for thawed desired team? The response above is useless. These are NOT games shown on Fox or NBC. These are games recorded on Center Ice channels.  Xfinity needs to fix this ASAP!!!!!!!!!!

Not only does the opposing team's broadcast always get picked up by the auto-record setting from my "favorited" team, when I manually set the recording for the correct broadcast, the recording regularly cuts out after a short time, not allowing me to get past the problem spot with the recording (just happened again tonight), or I'm left with large gaps in the recording skipping full periods, etc... terrible experience.  Xfinity should refund all customers the cost of NHL center ice.  What are we paying for???
