Recording playback pixilation

There are many complaints about xfinity recording play back pixilation. We have the same problem. Over past year I have replaced all the xfinity equipment more than once. The past three months, xfinity has sent out 3 service men. They checked everything out and improved the signal each time, but the recording pixilation continues. It seems to happen on more popular programs: as the 49er football games, giants-dodgers baseball, other popular major and minor channel shows. Mostly hi def pac-12 and espn channels.

Thank you for reaching out @CB71 Does the pixilation only happen during live broadcasts?

recording of live broadcasts. The live broadcast direct does not pixilate. Movies do not pixilate.

@CB71 To confirm then it is only when you replay a recording of the live broadcast games? But it isn't showing if you watch the live broadcast while recording it? We appreciate your patience with our questions as we work to clarify and narrow down where the issue is occurring to better assist you.

No, if I watch a live broadcast while recording i get pixelation. If I stop recording, then no pixelation on live broadcast. Seems to occur on really popular telecasts or channels with weaker feeds.
