Recording on DVR are skipping
Hello,
In the last few days all of my DVR recordings will not play back without several skips in the programs. I can not watch any of the recorded shows without interruptions. I’ve unplugged, turned off, restarted, ect. Nothing seems to be fixing it. Please help!

Same problem here. This is only happenening to programs recorded from 1/22/19 and after, and not programs that were recorded prior to that which play fine. The regular TV reception and internet and phone in my bundle are fine. I live in Lilburn in the Atlanta suburbs....looks like others are having the same problem. Comcast please let us know what is going on so we all do not have to change our boxes if this is a Comcast issue beyond our control and boxes. I have reset my DVR X1 box which did not help and I do not want to talk to Comcast phone support on end and schedule a call to come to my house if it is not my problem. We are seniors and this is our only entertainement. Comcast please help !!!

I am having a similar issue in the Detroit area. I thought it was only one recording yesterday evening. However, the choppiness affects everything recorded Jan 23.

2:14 am CST has come and gone but the problem has not. It's 9:30am in Ann Arbor, MI and this morning's recordings of the Today Show are worse than yesterday's - and those were pretty bad. Why is Comcast not issuing a statement about this? Are we individually going to have to ask for a credit for the time period our DVR system was not available? Apparently and not surprisingly so.

I never asked you to identify me or claimed to be an "expert poster" . When nothing is wrong except for the DVR playback, and the App, phone, and the fellow I talked to at Corporate all refer to an Outage, that is what I assumed they were talking about.

Everything I recorded before yesterday play back from my DVRs (Project Blue Book attachment).
However, starting yesterday, everything I record plays back from the cloud (The Magicians attachment).
Why is this all of a sudden happening? Playing back from the cloud has sluggish controls and the picture isn't as good as playing back from my DVRs.
