⏺️ Recording Conflicts

I am suddenly started getting recording conflict messages when I'm only recording two shows at a time and I should be able to record up to 6.

I am having same problem. I have 2 shows set to record at the same time and it returns scheduling conflict and won't record one of them.

Hello @user_qdztr6, thanks for reaching out for help with your DVR service.

Recently, we discovered that we’ve been providing some customers with extra DVR options and storage that’s not currently part of their Xfinity TV service. Beginning November 29, 2023, we'll be reducing those services to align with their current plans. AmandaB left a great FAQ link on this thread that outline the DVR capeabilities, but if you have any additional questions or concenrs please let us know!

@Aviedo Thank you so much for your post on the number of shows you can record. Recently, we discovered that we’ve been providing some customers with extra DVR options and storage that’s not currently part of their Xfinity TV service. Beginning November 29, 2023, we'll be reducing those services to align with their current plans. We did send emails to all impacted customers back in October.

We do have several levels of DVR services. With the Basic DVR options, you can record up to 2 shows at once, and you have 20 hours of free cloud storage for your content. You can check out this link for great frequently asked questions about our DVR and cloud DVR system. https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/x1-dvr-cloud-technology-general-faqs

The additional storage and recording options are not included in the base prices with the DVR services, but you can upgrade or add more storage at any time. You can make sure you have the level of DVR service you want without reaching out for help! From your X1 box if you go to the Main Menu by pressing the Xfinity button> Saved > Recordings > Upgrade DVR Plan. This will show your current plan level as well and when you hit the okay option it will give you a description for the next upgrade level you. If you did want to upgrade your DVR options all you need to do is hit upgrade right there to start the upgrade for your storage and recording options! If you are already on the top tier with the max storage it would also show there, that there are no additional upgrade options available. If that happens let me know!
