Recent X1 update-"LAST" & "INFO" menus no longer READABLE!!
LATEST CHANGES flunk usability/accessibility.
last watched overlay menu..
Higher on screen, but not bigger, rather now even smaller icons & fonts but now no solid/contrasting aka dark background at all... now it is whitish-gray faint text against whatever current program's light to dark colors, irregularly & continuing changes. Above & below. A

This used to be workaround for lesser issues like above, provided a solid white text/dark background in larger window, also outside CC locale usually, so workaround for this too. Now, same problems. Actually worse, since now there seems to be no workaround for such UI missteps nor easy way to get these details at all if tough read against whatever is active that moment.
Yes, TV color/contrast/viewing mode settings do effect this somewhat. Yes, some use of semi-transparent/low intrusive/design "cool" is common. But so too is duty to serve all variables of customer/personal equip/accessibility ranges. I can change TV color/contrast but not enough nor our problem here, nor OK thinking of seniors/elder/accessibility-challenged folks I know & help!!

What version X1 software is this? You can go to the settings menu, then all the way to 'About'. The number at the top is the version. My box has 139.0.1, but I did see 140.0.0 on my parents box at Thanksgiving.

Just wanted to say thx for reply & passing onward.
Oddly enough, seems like we have solid dark background & readable text back again!!! Not quite clear how since version under settings still same as above, so must tie to elsewhere, but not material as fixed now is what matters.
