You posed a great question!😀 Our Xi6 (sometimes listed as Xi6-T) is a companion box, which means it doesn’t have built-in DVR storage on its own. However, it can access and use DVR features when paired with one of our primary DVR box on your account (like the XG1v4).
So while the Xi6 itself doesn’t record shows directly, you can still:
Schedule recordings
Watch recorded content
Manage your DVR
And if you have an eligible X1 DVR setup or Cloud DVR service, you can record multiple shows at the same time depending on your DVR plan.
