I've had the slow guide response problem for a couple years.  I thought it was just how Xfinity was until I visted a family member in a different state and was surprised how snappy their guide was.  We recently replaced our cable box and the problem persists.  Guide takes 5-10 seconds to load.  Moving around is laggy.  Button presses are laggy.  Voice control errors out the first time, every time.

 

My coax connections have all been reseated and the HDMI to the box and receiver have been as well.  TV side is a little harder to get to but I could try that.  My guess is what some people have been saying -- my signal out of the house is poor.  I'll see if I can get some more info from Xfinity support.

Hi there, Lymond01. A slow responding remote is definitely no fun, especially when it has been this way for so long. You certainly came to the right place for support! If you haven't done so already, would you mind doing a factory reset on your remote by following the instructions listed here: https://comca.st/3q37NgJ? Is your cable box behind a cabinet or glass case at all? Have you tried swapping the remote out yet? Let us know, we want to help. 🙂
