RDK-03033

For the past couple of weeks my TV service has been spotty.  Every few hours of watching or often overnight the TV becomes unresponsive to the remote and shows the RDK-03033 error message.  "There's a problem connecting to the Internet" "Please check that your cables are tightly secured, and try again." I have tried all the troubleshooting, tightened all cables, ordered a new box just in case, and swapped out the coaxial cables.  No success.  Restarting the box will sometimes resolve the issue temporarily.  This is my only TV box in the house.

A tech came out to have a look but of course the error code would not pop up whenever he was there.  He did have a look around though and if I understand what he said correctly, he actually removed the outdated amp and replaced it with a simple splitter.

I am at a total loss and hate spending so much time troubleshooting this.

Hello, @PLZHELP4. I'm sorry to hear you continue to experience cable issues even after the tech visit. We appreciate you troubleshooting on your own to help take care of this problem. I would be more than happy to review your account to see what else we can do to help resolve this once and for all.
