Rdk-03011-2 error on secondary Xi5-p

I power up my xi5-p box and it fails with the RDK error code trying to download its image. The box is connected via internet to my X1 box.

I contacted the Xfinity assistant.  It had me restart my X1 gateway and it then restarted the main tv box, which is working fine. and then the assistant kept asking me to restart the main tv box.  It never got to my Xi5-p box.

I need to get my secondary xi5-p to “download my image”….

Thanks for connecting with us here in our community, @user_64bsty, about your cable box. We are happy to assist. Do you have our Xfinity app? The app will allow you to sign in with your Xfinity ID and troubleshoot your cable box, and send signals to it. We can also troubleshoot from here.

 

We would also recommend you restart your internet modem to ensure it has the latest firmware updated.

The assistant restarted my gateway and restarted my main tv box. It then recommended I return the x5 and get a replacement.  That was the solution.  The new x6 has arrived and is working .
