QVC overriding other channels???
For the last few months, QVC seems to be overriding our signal. When we start Netflix, for example, there is usually a delay for Netflix to kick in. During that delay, QVC takes over the TV and runs in the background during the Netflix menu. Also, if there is a delay when changing channels, QVC takes over the TV. Sometimes I actually have to actively change the channels to get rid of it. Plus, I hate QVC!
How do I stop this???

what set top box model do you have for X1? (use voice command 'about' and reply with the rest of the line to the right of "STB Version ...."?

I let it go through an update seemed to improve. You should tell people to update and reboot.

that isn't how digital TV works. it is your setup/equipment not related to x1 set top box. plug the set top box into the TV's HDMI port to verify. what you are talking about is video from one source and audio from another. are you trying to use an audio coaxial cable or toslink cable?

that isn't how digital TV works. there is no bleeding. something in your home wiring is causing it. disconnect all but the set top box from the TV and tune to a channel. still hear QVC? are you on the QVC channel?

I am still having the same problem, too. Hard to imagine that all of us experiencing this have faulty wiring.

And yet harder to imagine that an X1 box is mixing up the audio and video from different channels. Have you disconnected everything else and made sure the TV isn't tuning it by itself?

We are having QVC overriding the up/down selection buttons on the remote control repeatedly as well. Very annoying, this has been going on for a while

Now not only QVC suddenly appearing for me. One of my DVR'ed show was interrupted midstream and QVC was on the DVR. Is there a way to get out of my XFINITY contract. I literally can't use my DVR.

That really does not seem possible without everyone seeing the same thing, but it might be a good opportunity to diagnose what is happening. If you back up in the recording does the problem always happen at the same spot? If you watch it on the xfinity stream app on a phone or tablet, or using a computer at https://www.xfinity.com/stream/ do you see the same problem or is it just with your TV?
