Programming new remote?

Just replaced old box, modem, and remote with new. Old remote turns TV on, new remote does not. Cannot get past initial stage of connecting new remote to TV operation.

You may need to unpair the remote from its previous connection. That's worked for me before.

XR15 remote

Press and hold A and D until the light turns red, then green

Enter 981 using the remote's number pad

Xfinity Voice Remote with a Setup button

Press and hold Setup for three seconds until the status light turns from red to green

Enter 9-8-1 on the remote

user_s63fet That is never fun, I am sorry to hear the remotes are not pairing like they should. Are you still having the same issue, if so, what step are you getting stuck at? (what is on the screen)

I keep trying to reprogram my two remotes I’ve reset unplugged everything No matter what I try it gets me to the 3 digit code on screen and will not allow me to put numbers in ? Please advise Help !

user_mpozkf, Thanks for reaching out to Xfinity Support. We would be happy to help. It really depends on what remote you have. Could you share the model number that is on the back of the remote? It might say XR11, or XR15 to list a few.
