Programming for Roku Streambar

I have programmed my XR11 remote to control power of my Vizio TV and I would like to control audio of my Roku Streambar. When programming for an audio device, there is no option for Roku. How can I control the Streambar with my XR11?

Not sure if you are still interested, but I  have the same issue. I think the problem is with the xfinity remote being unable to control the Roku Stream Bar directly. Your TV would have to be connected via an hdmi-arc port for this to work.

@Tigger5662​ @cbyohn  has anyone figured this out?  I want to do the same thing, basically use the streambar as a soundbar when using X1 as TV input and as a full roku+soundbar when using Roku as TV input.  With X1 input I'd want the X1 remote to control soundbar volume.  With Roku input I don't care much which remote controls the soundbar volume, but either would be optimal.

Hi, thank you for reaching out to Xfinity Forums. At this time the beta does not allow the X1 remote control to control other devices besides the TV paired to the cable box. 

I no longer work for Comcast.
