Programming changes

I have programmed shows to record and then find out the programming changed and an entirely different show was recorded.  Now, when I had TIVO through DirectTV long ago, that was the best box ever.  It was intuitive.  It knew what was on when and adjusted accordingly.  Also, if you turned on a show midstream and decided to record it, it would revert to the beginning for the recording.  Then that box got phased out and nothing has ever been the same.  I am really unhappy with the guide currently and the problem with different shows playing other than what's stated on the guide.  I notice this especially with CNN however, the show should not record at all if the program changes.  Seems that these issues can be fixed with a decent box.  I know the technology is there.  Is Comcast just being lazy.  I care less about all the new things I can speak into my remote.

If the program changes but the guide information stays the same, the dvr doesn’t know that. You can still use a TiVo if you don’t like X1

You want the real answers or the sugar coat. Channels pre-empt or make changes all the time, without notice. It happens

No, I don’t need sugar coat. You have a bad box. Who’s sugar coating?

I was also told my payment of $180.91 was paid in full....Hello...I now see they want an additional $60. the I paid $180.91 on April 20, 2020....

I cannot believe ANYONE IN XFINITY  to geive accurate info....noone seems to knw what is going on and the customers are the ones that suffer because of your representatives not knowing their product or how billing works....AM REALLY GETTING TIRED OF THE RUN-AROUND.....

Did your contract expire and they raised your rate? If so, just cancel altogether. Sometimes they offer you a better deal if you’re about to cancel them. If you’re still in contract, I don’t know why else your rate would change. If you go into your account online, you can see if your contact agreement is still in effect and the date it will run out.
