Program remote control with Denon receiver

We received a new tv box and remote control in January.  The programming of the remote control hung part way through.  I have been able to program the remote control partially to where I can change channels and the volume with the remote control.  We can’t use the voice portion of the remote control.  When I use the power button, the tv does turn off, but turns back on within a few seconds.  I have tried going through the menu choices to pair the remote using the voice remote pair option.  However, it hangs scanning for devices, I’ve wait over an hour and never moves forward.   I have tried following the directions from the link:   https://www.xfinity.com/support/remotes.  I have also tried resetting the remote to factory settings and starting again.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

@user_mac5 I am so sorry to see that your remote has been giving you troubles! If you would like the fastest and free way to swap out the remote would be to visit a local service center! If you are needing any assistance in locating a service center you can follow this link: https://www.xfinity.com/support/service-center-locations/ to locate one near you! Do you know when you would be visiting the service center? I would love to reach out to make sure the swap went well and the new remote is working for you!

@XfinityDena  Hi, thank you for your response.  I have already replaced the remote control once.

Thank you for letting us know that you already tried to replace the remote @user_mac5, may we ask what model remote you are using? If you're unsure, I have included the following remote guide https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/remote-controls.
