Product Request: Map Physical CH +/- Buttons to Active Guide Filter

The Problem: The physical CH +/- buttons on the Xfinity Remote are currently "hard-coded" to the Master Channel Map. This forces users to tune into 4K or unsubscribed channels, directly triggering the Infinite UI Loop bug previously reported.

The Solution: A software update should allow the CH +/- buttons to respect the user's Default Guide View (e.g., Favorites or Free to Me).

The Benefit: This eliminates the "Guide, Down, OK" manual surfing process and prevents the box from ever attempting to tune into unauthorized or unsupported 4K signals, solving the Recursive Loop bug at the source.

The Benefit: This eliminates the "Guide, Down, OK" manual surfing process and prevents the box from ever attempting to tune into unauthorized or unsupported 4K signals, solving the Recursive Loop bug at the source.

In its current state, the CH +/- button is essentially a vestigial feature. Because it ignores the user’s 'Free to Me' or 'Favorites' settings and forces the box into unauthorized 4K/Subscription loops, it provides no functional value for channel surfing. If the software is not updated to allow these buttons to respect the active guide filter, they effectively become dead space on the remote. Making this simple software change would transform a currently useless hardware button into a vital tool for old-style channel surfing.
