Problem with daily updates

My daily refresh fails every day!  In order to get tv back, I have to unplug the xfinty tower, reply in and relink to wifi!!  It's terribly annoying,  inconvenient and hopefully a problem that can be solved.  I'm looking for a reason to drop cable altogether-this may be it!
