power outage 6 days ago and new remote does not work
I can't get through using two different phone numbers for Comcast. Had a power outage here last Tuesday, spoke to someone from comcast who said problem sounded like a needed a new remote. I just got the new remote and it does not work. It won't turn the tv on or off, it doesn't do anything. Does this sound like I need a new cable box? I have two tvs, one in the living room with a larger cable box and the one that doesn't work is the tv in the bedroom that uses a smaller cable box. Can someone please help me? Thanks.

ok, i was able to do what you said and the new remote appears to be working. thank you. the only problem is the new remote won't turn the tv off. can u help

i just tried to do what you said, and hit the reset button, but nothing came on my tv screen where i could type in a code.

not only cant i turn off the tv, when i put the volume as high as it will go, i still cant hear the tv
