Pixilated tv picture

New X1 box with all new wires used to connect. New coax splitter (actually tried two different ones). If I use the splitter, the picture and sound are pixilated and garbled. If I connect the cable from the wall directly to the X1 box, the picture is clear. But then I have no internet.

Help!
