pixellation

For weeks our Broadcast TV stations have been pixellating, sometimes getting worse, sometimes not as bad. I would have assumed it was something at my end here in Orland Park, but a friend in Woodstock is experiencing the same problem with pixellation. Since it appears to not be a problem at our end, it must be either Xfinity's problem or whoever they have transmitting from...the Hancock Tower? We started watching less and less TV, which is good for us, but I'm sure the advertisers would be very displeased to find their commercials chopping up. I'll have to check and see which advertisers are taking out ads on all the stations and let them know their commercials aren't coming in at all. Gee, I sure hope they don't pull their advertising money.
