Pixelating TV after getting a new box

I used to have issues with pixelating channels and then I got a new box.  The tech told me that the one I had was outdated and should be replaced, so I replaced it.  Fast forward to a few days ago where I accidentally shorted out the non-pixelating cable box.  I had a tech come in to see what was wrong, he confirmed I fried the cable box and replaced it with the newest model.  Well, I'm back to pixelating channels again.  Is it that only every other box works properly in my house?  Seriously, why is this box pixelating after a tech was just here 6 days ago????

Hey there, I apologize for the experience! Did you have any issues with the second box (besides it getting fried!) Are you having the issues on the same channels as before? We can try follow up troubleshooting since the damaged box was just replaced.

You can also go to your nearest XFINITY store to exchange the pixelating box or we can also send you out a new one. If you do decide to stop by at one of our stores it is recommended to set up an appointment to avoid long wait times. You can do this by visiting
