Phillies game not recorded on correct DVR channel

I've set my DVR to record all Phillies games.  Several times now, a Phillies game was broadcast on BOTH TBS and Comcast Sportsnet and was only recorded on the DVR on TBS, and of course what showed up on the screen was that the game was blacked out because of league contractural agreements.  Why does it not record the game on BOTH channels, and is there a way to specify the channel I want the game to be recorded on (Comcast Sportsnet)?

Thanks!

The concern is not "Community Center" help related............ Topic moved here to the TV help section for assistance.

user_271dd3 Hello! Thank you for reaching out to us here on our Community Forum. If the same program is airing on multiple channels, there is no way to prioritize which channel should begin recording. We suggest manually recording the "other" channel so that if one is blacked out and one is local, you won't miss out on watching the game.

Thanks for confirming.  I have seen some sports recorded on multiple channels before, such as the Eagles game on normal broadcast as well as a separate channel's Spanish simulcast, just confused as to why it sometimes does, sometimes doesn't.

Just one more reason to dump Xfinity and move to multiple streaming services, I guess...

Thanks again.
