Phantom "scheduled recordings" of non-existent channels won't delete

I woke up this morning to find my DVR's "scheduled recordings"  full of untitled programs from non-existent channels. This bug in itself would be no big deal except that I can't cancel or delete them, making my DVR completely unusable. When I look at the individual details of the recordings I get the option of changing the schedule (which also doesn't work) but no option to delete.

@user_a55545 Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us here on our Xfinity Forums. I can definitely understand the frustration, have you already tried any troubleshooting steps such as restarting the box or using the Xfinity app to send a reset signal to it?

I tried all the usual troubleshooting steps. None worked. Assuming that the scheduling had just become corrupted I cleared the priority tab and that worked for most of the corrupted undeletable conflicts. I'm hoping the rest will expire on their own.

@user_a55545 thank you for confirming that. I'd like to get a look at the signals on our end to see what may be happening. Please send us a DM to Xfinity support with your full name and address to get started.

I am having a similar experience after picking up an upgraded x1 box from an Xfinity store.

After installing the new box, there were numerous scheduled recordings for shows and channels we almost never watch.  Just this past week, I was offered an upgraded box following an on screen error message.  The box arrived, I self-installed it, returned the previous box to the Xfinity store… and it is happening again!

I know how to delete all future recordings… however I am mystified as to why unwanted programs are being recorded.  I am the only one in my household who has and uses the Xfinity app so, perhaps, the possibility that another household member is scheduling recordings.

Hi, @user_jx20il. Thank you for reaching out and creating a new post. I see you had similar issues as the OP with recordings showing up that were not set by you. We did have some customers let us know about this concern, and we have been working to get this cleared up. Can you confirm the device you have now, and what device you had before the swap?
