Pause function not working -“this set-top box doesn’t support it” message

All of a sudden pause, rewind, for functions stopped working. I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting box. I have tried changing channel- still won’t pause. Please help!

Yikes! I'm sorry that's happening for you @user_e3cb70 ! I love DVR and would be at a loss without it. Have you tried troubleshooting this issue through the helpful Xfinity My Account App? A common fix for DVR issues can be a system refresh, and the app will walk you right through it! Just click TV on the Overview screen, tap the TV you're troubleshooting, then troubleshoot.
