Pause Buffering no longer works after changing to SAMSUNG UHD TV

We had an LG OLED for 8 years.  We just upgraded it to a new 75" SAMSUNG QN90D that runs the TIZEN smart TV software.  The issue we're getting is that if/when we turn OFF the power to the TV, the channel no longer buffers to where we were before powering off. This worked flawlessly under the LG OLED software combination with the XFINITY V4 X1 box. Up to 1 full hour worth of buffering that we could backup to after powering up the TV.   Why is this happening? Is there some setting we're missing in either the X1 or Samsung settings? A serious flaw.  TIA if anyone has a solution..

Cody21 Thanks for posting on our Community Forums, and congrats on the new TV. I'm not quite sure why there would be a different setting with the change to your TV. The box may be going to a standyby mode to reserve bandwidth when the box is not in use. You can check to see if there is a power saver or standby setting to adjust on the box.
