pairing Polk sound bar with my XR-15 remote

After syncing my remote and sound bar I notice very limited volume from my sound bar and the sound bar shuts off after 5 minutes of wathing any program, this is all a new problem since Comcast tech was here 2 days ago to bring me a new remote which he programed for me. What do I do now?

It sounds like you have 2 separate issues but neither I would attribute to the remote. Possibly have the tech back out
