pace Xg2v2 PX022AN blacks out daily

I have a pace Xg2v2 that I have to "reset" every morning.  It is sending a signal to my tv as it's always a plain black screen.  Does not show the "check input" flashing as if there was no signal at all.  I get no picture and no sound.  I have to unplug the box, sometimes up to 3 times, to get it to come back to life.  So far I have swapped to a new box from my local xfinity store and have tried a new hdmi cable, neither with any success.  The blue light on the box is on while this is going on.

Not sure if it's related, but this box is identified as my "main" box, but I also have an xg1-a Arris Xg1v1 AX013AN in my system.  Would assume the Xg1-a would be the "main" box?

Thanks for any help!

@parboy183, thank you for creating a post! This could be due to HDMI's 2-way communication settings. Does your TV have anything like HDMI-CEC? As far as which box is which, the XG1's have 5-6 tuners and the XG2's have 4 tuners. They get their channels directly from the signal and not another box. Our Xi3 and some XiD boxes will borrow those tuners.

@XfinityTony thank you for the reply.  I spoke to my home theater installer and he says he generally turns off cec.  The thing is, the other xfinity box I have works just fine on the same TV.

Let's take a look into your account and make sure everything looks good, @parboy183

Can you please private chat our team with your full name and service address? To do so:  • Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Messaging" icon
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support"
there. As you are typing a drop-down list appears.
  • Select "Xfinity Support" from that list. An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it
