Overnight update locks up the box.

Each night, the primary box updates and restarts.  Reboot appears in the window and stays there.  I have to power it off once or twice every morning to get it functioning and the process repeats every night.

You will probably find that the problem is caused by an application that is running in the background. Anti-virus programs are a likely suspect.

I can't see how a LAN-connected computer could be the cause... The updates come through the WAN / RF connection to the Comcast coax system. Try getting the box swapped out for another. Good luck !
