Outage? Error code? Set-top box no longer active? We need actual help.

We got a new box from Xfinity and after we set it up we received an error message RDK-03007 which states, “This set-top box is no longer active.” We called 1-800-xfinity because the error code says it’s a billing issue but the automated voice says there is an outage in our area and we can get help until that is resolved. This has been going on for 4 days now and is incredibly frustrating. We just want to talk to a real person and get actual help/answers!

The same is happening to me. It said my box was out of date so I got sent a new one and now I'm getting this error and there's been an outage so I cannot receive help.
