Old recordings won't delete

It's so frustrating that no one knows how to resolve this. Old or current recordings won't delete on neither app or DVR. You get the same dumb response - restart or system refresh - and that never fixes any of the issues. They need to own up that they don’t know what the heck they're doing. It's beyond aggravating when we pay so much for the sevice and they could never fix any issues. Plus you could never get a hold of a live person and when you do it's the same troubleshooting- Sync DVR - and it doesn't work. Someone needs to think outside of the box and figure out how to really resolve this.

 Have you tried refreshing your system?

I would start by resetting your cable box and running a diagnostic check on your DVR using the Xfinity My Account app.

After resetting everything try to delete those recordings again.

Click the "New message" (pen and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
A "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window   
Press Enter to send it
