Not able to program XR11 remote control for both TV and AV Receiver

I can first program the remote for the TV and it works fine. Then I opt to add my AV Receiver to control the volume - so I add the receiver to the remote and THAT works fine - except the TV is not working anymore. It's like the program for the AVR overwrote the TV.

I have tried this using the X1 box as well as the Android app (as suggested in an earlier post). It does not work.

I've noticed that the UI steps on my X1 are a little different than before. Is there a different way to be able to program BOTH at the same time?

Hello, @blinker57. I appreciate you creating this post for us to discuss your situation. I understand you had success programing the TV, and you were also able to program the audio receiver. However, you lose control of the TV once the receiver is added. I see you've tried the Xfinity remote app as well without any success. At this time, we don't have a way to program both devices at the exact same time. I also want to ensure I understand correctly. Does the remote not work for your X1 box as well? I have the same exact issue. The X1 box works well, programming is very different than before for the TV and audio device. New set top box. Same TV and audio device. Any news of an update?

Hi, @user_5285e8 and @blinker57 we do not currently have an update at this time. We definitely do appreciate your feedback regarding this. If either of you are having issues with just connecting the remote to the X1 box though, we can work to resolve that, let us know.

I'm concerned about this.  We have a 5-speaker sound system with a Yamaha receiver and cannot use it.  Frustrating and disappointing,

Can you try using the steps listed at xfinity.com/remotes and try manually programming the remotes for the TV and AVR separately?
