I finally found out why I no longer have no buffer. Because when Xfinity replaced my main box they replaced it with one that does not allow buffering. I now have to go back to the store and tell them to give me "Preferral Cable Box".
Hi Chriswyan, thank you for reaching out and creating this post on our Forum. I'd like to make sure we're on the same page and working in the right direction. When you say buffering, are you referring to the X1 'Screensaver mode'? The in-store team may not be able to provide you with an older model TV-box if it's considered grandfathered and no longer available.
