No hdmi handshake x1 satilite box

When turning tv on I have to change to a different input then back to the original imput(hdmi 1) to get the signal. This has to be done every time the tv is turned off then on and only started a couple weeks ago. TV is a few months old. Swapped boxes and wires, reset,updated,no luck. Called rep. No luck.
