No Dolby Digital 5.1 on X1 service
I do not get a Dolby Digital 5.1 signal out of any of my new receivers. Moved into new house in new development in July 2019. At the time, I only had a TV to test with. Later, I got my Denon receiver and my Samsung 5.1.4 soundbar. Have 5 receivers, 3 connected to the coax, and 2 are wireless. Neither the Denon nor Samsung are playing 5.1 at ALL! Neither live nor recorded. (I am supposed to have a HDD in the modem(?). There does not seem to be a "main" concept, just a modem that feeds all the coax jacks in the house.) The Comcast setup screen says Dolby Digital 5.1 signal is coming out, but the indicators on my Denon say the input signal is only 5.1 when nothing is coming out of the (very good) HDMI 2.0 cables between the Comcast equipment and the receiver/soundbar. This is when I fast forward or rewind, or the screen saver is being displayed. As soon as I play or hit pause, only the L/R indicators are active. Techie said his supervisor said it could be a software issue on their side, but no calls are returned (at least I was not charged for the visit).
I am bummed because there is a lot of Dolby Digital material out there that we watch, and all I have is a stereo input to my stuff.

are you watching live or a recording? the modem has no 'hard drive'. A home DVR has a clock for earlier version on the front panel and latest version has one small rectangular LED on the middle-front. how is your set top box connected to the TV? is it to the receiver and then out from receiver to TV (all HDMI?)
