Newer Version of XG1v4?
Does Xfinity have a newer version of the XG1v4 that uses a coax connection? I only have one box so using a Xi6 is not an option.
The XG1v4 is showing its age in 2026 in both app speed and lacking Dolby Vision support.

Thanks for dropping by to post on our forums, Tek! Xfinity has not released a newer version of that model, but you're no longer required to have a wired cable box. If you have Xfinity internet, you can have an Xi6 as your primary set-top box if you'd like to give it a shot!
