New XiOne-SC(B) boxes vs old X1 boxes

I currently have:  Primary TV Box    PXO13ANM

                              2nd        "     "       x1   XG1v4-A

                              3rd         "     "       x1   XiD-C

Received 3 new boxes   XiOne-SC(B)

I want to continue connecting the boxes with coax, not internet.

Do the new boxes provide that much "enhanced performance, faster load times" vs my old equipment?  If it is a significant improvement I want to upgrade using coax not internet if possible.  Can I connect the 3 new boxes via a MoCa adapter using my existing coax?

Will the 3 new boxes work without my Primary TV Box?  I have ComCast Internet, do not have a ComCast Modem.

XiOne boxes only use WiFi or Ethernet, not coax cable.

@BIslander Thank you!

@user_ya7m4j Thanks for meeting us here in our community about your concerns with the XiOne box. @BIslander is correct. The XiOne requires at least one additional X1 TV Box to act as the primary X1 device on your account. If you have Xfinity Internet with a Xfinity Gateway or a customer-owned modem/gateway, the X1 Wireless TV Box can be used as the primary X1 device itself.

I understand from your post that since I have Xfinity internet and a customer owned modem that I can use one of the new Xi one boxes as my Primary X1 device, is this correct?

The coax coming into the house is split with one coax cable going to the TVs and the other cable going to the modem. Can I connect the 3 new boxes via a MoCa adapter to my existing coax?  This coax cable does not go through the modem.

Do the new Xione boxes provide that much "enhanced performance, faster load times" vs my old equipment?

You are correct. The XiOne box can be used as the primary device, though I don't believe they have a coax port on the back. They connect and receive a signal through WiFi or Ethernet, and will provide the same services and functionality as the coax boxes would.

Sorry to be dense about this, but I just received three of these boxes for my three TVs (two X1 boxes and a basic non-DVR box, small but not as small as the new ones) and I am not clear on whether it is preferable, quality-wise, to keep the X1 for our main TV and use the new boxes for the other two, or use all three new boxes. Thanks!

The DVR functionality on XiOne is less than ideal. No rewind of live TV, for example.
