New X1box is not setting up properly

Error msg states-

There seems to be some trouble. 
please tighten your cable connections, and then restart yr tv box ….

I have tightened and restarted, unplugged tv and box and then plugged back in and I’ve taken out all connections and put them back in.

also called tech support, but they weren’t much help.

Saying no signal to HDMI 1, but the cord is in there, tightly from the back of tv to the cable box.

so, the welcome, bienvenido pops up and then it says no signal HDMI 1

it says to tighten cords and restart.

ive tightened everything and re-started.

very frustrated.

We got a msg on our tv recently that a new box was available, so they sent it to us.

I wish I never requested it. This is a huge waste of time!
